Have you heard of the saying, “there are more dogs in San Francisco than children”? Is it true? San Francisco sure love its dogs! So much that there are many events and meetups in the area. Here are some upcoming events that you might be excited about!
WAG HOTELS ANNUAL HAUNTED HOWL-O-WEEN PARTY
Saturday, October 27th | 12-2 pm
Every year, Wag Hotels throws a Halloween Party. This year, their benefit is the California Fire Foundation. With the fires in California, they are fundraising to honor the firefights and support families of the fallen. There will be food and drinks, a costume contest with prizes, trick-or-treating, local vendors, and much more!
Saturday Oct. 13th 2018 | 10-2pm
Corgi Con is exactly what it sounds like! It starts at 10 am and goes until 2 pm on Ocean Beach. Corgis and the beach — what isn’t there to love? The event has attracted over 18,000 people and dogs. There are costume contests, obstacle courses, and photo opportunities with Influencers.
MONTHLY DOG WALK MEETUPS
This is a monthly Dog Walks Meetup group! The group meets up every month walking in a different neighborhood in San Francisco. It is a great way to meet and share experiences with other dog owners, and a great way to learn more about the city and build a community.
ST. PATRICK’S DOG DAY PARADE
March 17, 2019 | 1-4 pm
One of my favorite things to do every year is the St. Patrick’s Day Dog Parade! Every year they help save dogs from shelters. Everyone comes dressed up in their favorite green outfits while having a blast celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
This is just a small glance into some of the events in San Francisco. Since there are many dog companies in the city as well, they will throw parties inviting dogs and their humans. Be sure to keep updated on Eventbrite or FunCheapSF, and tell us in the comments which events you’re excited for!
