Follow along as we share a few of our favorite dog parks in Utah. Paisley and I are sure you and your four-legged friends will love them!
This dog park is heaven on earth for your furry friends! Tanner Park has a great location in Salt Lake City and is visited by so many fun, loving dog owners. It’s not your everyday dog park with a grassy fenced in area and some park benches. Tanner Park is an area of nature that was turned into in off-leash area for dogs. You follow a trail from the parking lot, with your dog on-leash, until you see a sign saying that you’re in the off-leash area..then the fun begins! The views of the beautiful Utah mountains in this park are killer! The path loops around and has several offshoot smaller trails that my dog loves to run through and explore nature. The main path stays close to a fun little creek, which is great to play in on warm days. We love this park for its amazing shade made by all the trees and by how huge it is. You never feel crowded or overwhelmed with too many dogs in one area of the park. Your furry friend will have a blast here exploring all this open space!
MEMORY GROVE PARK
Memory Grove Park is a hidden gem in the bustling city! The first time we found this park we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. The park is partially on-leash and partially off-leash, so make sure you pay attention to which area you’re in. The trail takes you into a wooded area that follows a creek — all the dogs love to splash around in the creek. It’s a great spot for all the dogs to run around and chase each other…and maybe even spot a squirrel or two. This is a dreamy dog park, and I never thought I would use those two words in the same sentence.
DAYLAND DOG PARK
Our final favorite dog park in Utah is a dog park in Draper, Utah. This was one of the first dog parks we visited after we moved to Utah, we love it so much. On any given day there are so many friends to play with and so much space to throw the ball. I love the walking path that circles the park because Paisley can run around and I can walk and keep my eye on her. The views of the mountains are so gorgeous, we love when they are covered in snow! Paisley loves the little stream that runs through part of the park, and loves to leave her toy in it for me to fish out! Such a fun dog park to hit if you have a little less time.
