Including your dog in your wedding is always a good idea, but what will they wear? After all, the invite certainly doesn’t include a dress code for your furry best friend. Don’t fret — We’re here to make sure your pup is looking their best on your special day.
Here are 5 of our favorite attire options for your pet on your wedding day!
The tuxedo bandana is a classic choice. The bandana style ensures your dog is comfortable and still able to move around freely, while looking just as dapper as his fellow groomsmen!
“I DO TOO” OR “DOG OF HONOR” BANDANNA
This burlap style is adorable and lets everyone know exactly what your dog’s role in the day is! Again, we recommend sticking with the bandanna style attire so that your dog is easily able to move around and stay comfortable all day long.
A FRESH (OR FAUX) FLOWER COLLAR OR BOUTONNIERE
Ask your florist to put together something special for your pup! If you’d prefer to DIY it, you can also make your own faux version. They can wear a flower collar, a boutonniere, or even just some greenery wrapped around their leash for a special touch!
CUSTOM OUTFITS & ATTIRE
If you search “Dog Wedding Attire” on Etsy or Google, you’ll be amazed at how many adorable, unique options come up! We’ve seen everything from dresses and tutus to custom full body tuxedos. We even have our own Etsy shop where we can custom make tuxedos to match the bridal party:
These can be used for your engagement shoot and wedding announcements as well! The options are endless: from “My Humans are Getting Married” to “I Loved Her First.” These signs are a great photo prop and can also be incorporated into your ceremony, too!
