Ever since I moved to Atlanta, my favorite thing to do is take Lola out and explore the big city! Atlanta has so many wonderful dog-friendly spots right inside the perimeter that it was hard to narrow down our favorites!
There are so many restaurants here in the city that I love going to with Lola! Some of our favorites are Flower Child, Nina & Ralfi, City Winery, JCT Kitchen, Park Tavern, Henrys, Treehouse Pub, Victory Sandwich Bar, BarTaco, Howells Kitchen & Bar, Shake Shack, Yeah! Burger, Lingering Shade, & Upbeat.
Ponce City Market
Right off the beltline is Ponce City Market which is a mixed-use development located in a historic building in Atlanta, with national and local retail anchors, restaurants, a food hall, boutiques and offices, and residential units. Dogs are not allowed inside the building but they are allowed all around the shopping district and patios at restaurants.
This yummy brunch spot has a cute patio for dogs right outside Ponce City Market.
Beltline is hands down Lola and I’s favorite thing to do in the city. It connects all the best areas of the city on a beautiful path where we can hop from one restaurant to another to grab drinks and food!
Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall
Right off the Beltline is Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, a hip American bar and restaurant offering a campfire-and-lodge theme, screened porches, and local beers.
Avalon is an upscale mixed-use development in Alpharetta, Georgia. All the stores are dog-friendly which is wonderful and most restaurant patio’s are also dog-friendly.
Attached to SunTrust Park is The Battery where there are restaurants, shops and bars with tons of dog-friendly patios!
There are so many breweries here in Atlanta that have many dog-friendly patios and some even allow dogs inside! I always love meeting friends in the summer with Lola at different breweries.
Parks & Trails
There are so many wonderful trails & park around Atlanta. The Trail on Chattahoochee, Centennial Olympic Park, Newtown Park, Arabia Mountain, Stone Mountain, Grant Park, Brook Run Park and our absolute favorite is Piedmont Park with the dog park attached!

I am a wedding, lifestyle and doodle photographer based out of the beautiful city of Atlanta, GA. I love listening to Bon Iver while cleaning my house way too many times during the day, spending time with my Goldendoodle, Miss Lola, drinking lots of coffee and eating way too many donuts. I am a sucker for everything neutral and love chasing light. I picked up my first camera 6 years ago, which has been amazing to be in a world that is surrounded with love and happiness. It truly is a blessing to call this passion my career.
