#DailyBarker Pet of the Month: Super Corgi Jojo

Today, we’re back with another super cool pup to introduce you to! This awesome pup not only surfs, but is also a therapy dog. What a catch! Let’s get into this month’s interview, shall we?

TELL US YOUR NAME

My name is Jojo.

Where do you live?

I live in sunny San Diego, California.

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

I am 8 years old and I was born in Washington State. I love to surf, play in the water, fetch, and anything that involves the word “PLAY!” I also volunteer at Scripps Hospital and with the USO. Putting smiles on other’s faces brings a smile to my face, too!

Do you have any nicknames?

Supercorgi Jojo or Jojo Beans!

How many years have you been on Instagram?

Since 2014.

What got you started on Instagram? 

My Corgmom and I got attacked by two dogs. My mom didn’t know who to turn to, so she converted her own Instagram account into what you see today so she could get advice from other dog owners about what to do in that situation.

What does a typical day look like for you? 

A typical day for me starts with a nice walk in the morning followed by long afternoon and evening walk, too. I play a lot with my friend, Kilo. Kilo is my smaller Corgi friend, but he has a big heart!

What is your favorite travel spot? 

My favorite travel spot would definitely be Hawaii. Everyone is so friendly there and I get to spend so much time at the beach and by the water, which are two of my favorite things!

If you could be another animal, what would you be?

A shark, of course!

What is the one thing, you can’t live without? 

One thing that I cannot live without is my momma. She takes such good care of me and really puts my needs before her own. Also, my laser pointers (haha!) I love chasing that dot around!

Tell us one random fact about you that no one knows!

I can actually catch my own tail (even though it’s tiny!) Whenever my tail fur grows out a little, I can spin around just right to catch it!
