We love sharing everything with the dogs, as Sev and Lily are such important parts of our life. Having them by our side makes us feel confident and happy, living the best spaniel family life.
We’ve made a list of 8 awesome bucket list ideas for both you and your dog to enjoy together.
Climb a Mountain
We have completed Pen-y-Fan and Snowdon, both located in Wales. The dogs love hiking up the mountain, stopping at mini waterfalls, and enjoying the view as we go. The achievement feels amazing, and sharing that with the dogs makes it feel even more special.
SHARE AFTERNOON TEA
More places are treating the pooch to a dog-friendly version of afternoon tea, and it’s one of our favourite treats to have as a family. From doggy ice cream to homemade biscuits and more, it’s great to all get dressed up, pooches and all, and tick it off your bucket list.
GO WILD SWIMMING
There are so many gorgeous spots around the UK for wild swimming. From the ocean to streams, and even bigger lakes, swimming with your dog can be such an awesome thing to do.
STAY AT A LUXURY HOTEL
Dogs are being welcomed into some of the loveliest hotels with dog-friendly accommodations that feel luxury for both human and hound.
We’ve stayed in some gorgeous places! The dogs are always welcomed, sometimes they’ll even have their own bed and doggy menu.
TAKE A BOAT RIDE
Rent a day boat to explore the Norfolk Broads and see more of London. There are several dog-friendly boat rides, making adventuring with your dog even better.
ROAD TRIP
Road tripping to new places is the best feeling. Just pack up the car, dogs included, and head somewhere new and fun to explore. Everything is an adventure, from the time we leave to the things we experience together.
Hiring a camper van and taking to the road can be so much fun and add a element of even more fun adventure and help to explore the area even more. If you’re in the UK, we loved hiring Blossom, the vintage VW Camper from Happy Days Camper Hire to enjoy the Coastal roads of Cornwall.
SURF OR PADDLE BOARD
Being in the water is so perfect for me, it’s what I love. So when the dogs can join in it makes it even better. Why not try paddle boarding and head around a lake? The dogs can make it a little trickier for first timers, but I hate doing it without them now.
PLAY IN THE SNOW
This year, England experienced some awesome snow days, which we haven’t had for so long. Enjoy a snow day with your pooch throwing snowballs, making snow dogs, or taking a long chilly walk.
Have you ever made a bucket list for your dog? What would be on yours?

We do alot of road trips with Nash (unintentionally) but we are planning to take Nash to the ocean this spring (probably Florida since it’s a close drive) so he can see the beach for the first time, and we are planning to get him to see snow this year too!
Thank you for letting us share our bucket list, we love ticking them off with Sev and Lily and can’t wait to do more next year! x
Love From Steph, Sev & Lily
Climbing a mountain is definitely on next year’s list for us!
