We are all about that #brunchlife in LA! There’s a plethora of options all across town from some of the best chefs in the world. And the best part isn’t the bottomless mimosas or the people watching — it’s the PUPPIES!
You’ve gotten the sense of how dog-friendly LA is if you’ve read any of my previous blogs, and brunch is no different. It’s the perfect activity after a hike or beach romp with your pooch.
Check out my 9 favorite brunch restaurants to bring your dog to in Los Angeles, no matter what side of LA you’re in.
WESTSIDE (#bestside ;))
GREAT WHITE
Venice Beach
Great White is the best brunch spot in town if you’re looking for instagrammable moments and delicious food. The decor is California beach chic to a T, and they boast many alternative latte options like turmeric and charcoal to top off the perfect shot!! As you maybe remember from my Venice Beach guide, dogs are welcome inside and outside which makes it easier to get a table. Watson loves coming with us to Great White!
FIG at the FAIRMONT
Santa Monica
When I want to feel like I’m on vacation, Fig is definitely it. Situated in the beautiful Fairmont hotel right by the pool, this is the perfect spot to sip on rosé with your dog. The homemade bread dish with pesto is just out of this world, and they even have a menu for your dog specifically!
MID-CITY
PUBLIC SCHOOL
Culver City
If I’m in the mood for bottomless anything, it’s straight to Public School. Smack dab in the middle of downtown Culver City, this restaurant boats the best bottomless situation in town — you can have bottomless mimosas, beermosas, micheladas, or bloody marys! The food is really hearty American style, perfect for stopping that hangover (while continuing to hair of the dog ;)). Big fan of the mac n’ cheese that they put Lays Chips inside of.
REPUBLIQUE
Mid-City
Republique is arguably one of the best restaurants in LA for any time, but their coffee + pastry options push me toward brunch. There’s patio seating outdoors to lounge with your pup — make sure to come with a friend though, because you order up front first and then get a number and find a table. You’ll want to make sure you’re an early bird though, Republique gets packed after 9am!

EASTSIDE & DTLA
WINSOME
Echo Park
You’ll hear a lot of chatter about places like Sqirl for brunches on the Eastside — and don’t get me wrong, Sqirl is delicious — but I’m much more partial to a lesser-know gem, Winsome. Crisp white and light wood throughout, with a beautiful outdoor patio. The coffee and pastries are phenomenal here, and my literal favorite salad in the whole city (farro, arugula, shallots, grilled chicken!!) is from here.

ZINC CAFE
Arts District, DTLA
Zinc Cafe is by far my fave place to eat when in the Arts District area! Really great American fare and a wonderful atmosphere. You can order at the bar and seat yourself outside or have full table service — it’s dog-friendly inside and out. There’s a cute little shop where you can get kitchen decor, cook books, and some to-go goods as well. Highly recommend checking this place out!

SOUTHBAY
PLAYA PROVISIONS
Playa del Rey
Top Chef winner Brooke Williamson’s beachside restaurant Playa Provisions is what dreams are made of. An incredible cocktail list, perfect to cure however you’re feeling in the morning. There’s always some sort of delicious bread option like biscuits or pretzel bites to start off your morning. I’ve never had a bad dish here, honestly! Plus a gorgeous patio with blankets and firepits to hang with your dog. Not to mention an ice cream spot and to-go counter if you’re heading to the beach!

NELSON’S AT TERRENEA
Palos Verdes
Last but not least, Nelson’s at the gorgeous Terrena resort in Palos Verdes. I like to pretend I’m uber rich when I’m here, it’s so posh and upscale! The outdoor area overlooks the ocean, making this such a scenic view for brunch. Expect to see lots of adorable pups here!
MALIBU
Malibu Farm
Malibu
You can’t make a weekend visit in LA complete without driving up the coast to Malibu! Just driving around in the car is fun (especially if you have a convertible), but there are many dog-friendly hikes and beaches throughout the coast. For me, a stop to Malibu isn’t complete without Malibu Farm. Right on the pier, this restaurant is delicious and healthy! Bringing Watson here and eating cauliflower pizza overlooking the ocean is one of the best ways to brunch.
